Dr. Sabrina Edwards

Dr. Sabrina F. Edwards has 13 years of experience in education (Secondary and Higher Education). Sabrina F. Edwards served as a Business/Technology Education Teacher with Charleston County School District, at her Alma Mater Burke High School (Charleston, SC).

Dr. Edwards has worked as a Mental Health Transitional Counselor with Charleston County Disability Board, Adult Education Teacher/Community School and Career Counselor at the University of North Florida. Sabrina’s primary emphasis is placed on teaching the adult learners population and supporting first year college student support programs.

Dr. Edwards holds membership with the following associations:

• TRIO Alumni Association
• FLOWHE (Florida Office of Women in Higher Education)
• Phi Gamma Sigma Honor Society
• Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society
• Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Dr. Edwards served as the Director for Student Support Services/TRIO and was totally responsible for the implementation, development and management of the federally funded program at Edward Waters College, ensuring academic support services for at-risk/disadvantage students (low income and first generation population).

Dr. Edwards earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Pre-Law/Political Science from Saint Augustine’s University, a Master of Arts in Human Resources/Training Development from Webster University and Doctorate of Education, Organizational Management with a specialization in Higher Education from Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Edwards serves as Assistant Professor of Business at Edward Waters College at Edward Waters College. Dr. Edwards is responsible for instructing Human Resources, Organizational Management and Behavior, Business Communications, Business Ethics, Group and Team Dynamics and Human Capital Courses for CLIMB, an Adult Accelerated Learning Program.

Dr. Edwards is the founder of a non-profit organization “Little Bookworms Community Resource Agency, Inc. which provides educational and human services resources and referrals to make individual lives better in Northeast Florida.

Dr. Edwards Bio is published in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers 10th Edition Volume 5.
