Richard K, Jones – Rick Jones graduated from Florida State University in 1976 with a BS degree in Accounting, cum laude. Rick then worked as a Certified Public Accountant in Jacksonville before attending law school. Rick graduated from Florida State University School of Law with honors in 1982.
After working as an attorney with District Counsel, Internal Revenue Service in Jacksonville, Rick has worked with the law firm of Moseley, Prichard, Parrish, Knight & Jones in Jacksonville from 1984 to the present. Rick’s primary practice areas are Business Law and Litigation, Commercial and Corporate Law, and Wills/Trusts/Estates/Probate. Rick has served as President of the Jacksonville Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Rick’s charitable activities include serving as President of the Friends of the Jacksonville Public Library, Inc., the Jacksonville Public Library Foundation, Inc. and Rick is a graduate of Leadership Jacksonville.
Rick served as Chairman of the Providence School Development Board from 2003 – 2005 and has been a member of the Providence School Board from 2006 to the present. Rick is married to Suzy Jones and their three daughters are all graduates of Providence; Ashley in 2003, Rachel in 2005, and Emily in 2008.
