The International Longshoremen Association Local 1408 Scholarship Fund, Port of Jacksonville, Inc. is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization established in 1995 to provide scholarships for qualified high school graduates and returning college students, exhibiting high academic achievement and a financial need to continue their collegiate studies.
Our mission is providing scholarships in the form of financial assistance to academic high achievers and qualified disadvantaged college students. With proceeds from the past 24 golf tournaments, more than $750,000 has been awarded to 1000 students. With the help of generous supporters, this year’s 25th Silver Anniversary tournament will be outstanding.
